Jesus Sees YOU!

Today, as I sat waiting before the Lord and listening for His voice, I felt Him speak; I didn't hear audibly. I didn't see Him physically, yet I've never been more certain of His message; I see you!

If you are like me, it's hard to comprehend that the God of the Universe sees me amidst all the people of the world. Yet, Jesus consistently demonstrated the love of the Father and ability to see past all the masses to the individual.

In Matthew 9:20-22 we read about the "woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years," who "said to herself, 'If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.'" In verse twenty-two, "Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he said, "your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed from that moment." (NIV) Crowds all around her. People pressed in on every side; yet Jesus saw her and demonstrated mercy and amazing love.

In Luke 7:11-15, as Jesus went to Nain, again a large crowd surrounded him. "As he approached the town gate, a dead person was being carried out — the only son of his mother, and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the town was with her. When the Lord saw her, his heart went out to her and he said, "Don't cry." Then he went up and touched the coffin, and those carrying it stood still. He said, "Young man, I say to you, get up!" The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother." (NIV) Again, we see the Lord's amazing ability to minister to the one. He was NEVER too busy. He saw her!

In Luke 13:10-13, Jesus was teaching in the synagogue on the sabbath. Again, the place was crowded...but amidst the crowd "a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, "Woman, you are set free from your infirmity." Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God." (NIV)

Oh, my dear friend...today...JESUS SEES YOU! YES YOU! Unemployed. Broken. Hurting. In desperate need of reassurance. He sees you longing for affirmation. Your need for reassurance. He sees you when you cry out for healing. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Each one of these women were in a great state of need. They were powerless to bring about their own deliverance or healing...AND GOD SAW THEM...and He had compassion.

Today, I sensed Jesus wanting me to simply remind you that HE SEES YOU! He has not forgotten you and that HE IS FAITHFUL to deliver us from all our troubles. I pray His presence encourages you that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR HIM. He will fulfill ALL of HIS promises. And that He strengthens you by His Spirit.

Isaiah 41:10 He reminds us--"do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." (NIV)
