Remember Who You Serve!

What battle do you face today? Do you feel over-whelmed?
Do you feel ill-equipped?

Our battles seem unconquerable when we focus on our circumstances...BUT...when we remember WHO we serve...and turn our focus to WHO HE IS...we are unstoppable!

  • Abraham and Sarah were as good as dead...BUT GOD fulfilled His promise and Sarah conceived.
  • Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego faced the fury of a fiery furnace...BUT walked out unsinged... because the Son of God stood with them amidst the fire. God protected them.
  • Goliath struck fear in the hearts of Israel's mightiest warriors, BUT GOD brought him to his knees with a sling shot and five stones.
  • When the world was without form, God created the heavens and the earth by His spoken word.

The truth is, I could go on and on BUT I think you understand what I'm talking about! God sustains us, empowers us, provides for us, and protects us. Through Him we can do all things.

I know some of you are facing BIG BATTLES...BUT...
We serve a BIGGER GOD!

So, DON'T lose heart; God can be trusted. Psalm 34:18-19 says, "The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. A righteous man may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all..." (NIV)

God sees us, right where we are, and promises us He will never leave us or forsake us. So, cry out to Him today...and if you feel like you can't go on...or feel like giving up...REMEMBER WHO YOU SERVE!

PRAYER: Father, thank You that You are our Defender. Thank You that we are not alone. Thank You that You go before us and make the rough places smooth. Thank You that You hear us when we cry out to You. Move on our behalf this day. Fill us with Your Spirit. Empower us to do...all that You've called us to!

God promises that when we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us. So DON'T Give Up. You're gonna make it!
