Just A Glimpse!

Sometimes, as I read through Scripture, I catch a fresh glimpse of WHO God is...and it totally takes my breath away. In Isaiah 43:12-13 God says, "...You are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "that I am God. Yes, and from ancient days I am he. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?" (NIV)

Wow...think about that. We are HIS...He holds us securely...No one can snatch us from His love...He moves mountains on our behalf...He is ALL POWERFUL...and when He acts...NO ONE can reverse it.

HE PROMISES later in this same passage of Scripture, from Isaiah 43:16-19, "This is what the LORD says — he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, who drew out the chariots and horses, the army and reinforcements together, and they lay there, never to rise again, extinguished, snuffed out like a wick: "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland." (NIV)

Are you facing impossibilities today? I'm sure the Red Sea and a vast Egyptian army seemed pretty daunting...but God FULLY delivered the Israelites!

We serve an AMAZING GOD!

God commands us to forget the former things...to not dwell on the past...WHY because He is doing a new thing...it's right here...HE is making a way...even in our desert wastelands!

Have relationship troubles? God restores!
How about financial difficulties? God promises to sustain and provide!
Are you weighted by sin? God removes our sin as far as the east is from the west!
If you're tired...weary or worn out...God will lift you up as if on wings of Eagles...

Dear friend...GOD CAN BE TRUSTED! YOU ARE NOT ALONE! He sees you right where you are...the difficulties...the challenges...AND HE PROMISES...

"Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."
(Hebrews 13:5, NIV)

PRAYER: (Taken directly from 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24) "May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it." (NIV) In Jesus name I pray, amen!
