More than Words

You are loved my dear friend...more than you could ever hope or imagine. And at the end of time, long after the applause, accolades, and awards of men; we will stand before an audience of One. We will see The One Who took our penalty and covered our shame.

So today, I felt the Lord gently whisper, remind them again that I love them...remind them that I see them...remind them that I have not forgotten them.

Jer 31:3-4, "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness. I will build you up again and you will be rebuilt..." NIV

I remember a season in my life (about 12 years ago now) that I sat at the end of a bar. My intent? To get as drunk as possible as quick as possible. Ironically, I had just finished Bible College, but was going through a divorce, and losing my credentials with the denomination I had been licensed with. I felt isolated, alone, and discarded. (It's a long story...maybe I'll share at a later time.) While sitting at the edge of the bar, making unholy choices...the Spirit of God whispered to me; "There is no where you can go that my grace won't find you still."

After years of preaching on grace, after years of claiming my comprehension of mercy...I experienced it first hand. God loved me so much, He broke through all the barriers of where I thought He would show up and sat next to me in a bar and lovingly embraced me. I was never the same!

So, once again, for today's post, I felt impressed to simply remind you--You are loved. I'd like to share an amazing video that I watched a few years ago...I hope you take the time to watch it in its entirety...you will be glad you did.
