What are you believing for? What matter have you lifted to Him time and time again in prayer? What private desire of your heart has, for too long, laid exposed to doubt or shame?
Several years ago, God gave me a really big promise. At times, it's easy to get discouraged; I look at my present circumstances and wonder, Did I really hear God correctly? But the truth of the matter is God's Word will not return void of accomplishing all that He said it would.
2 Chronicles 16:9-For the eyes of the Lord move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His...
The Lord Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth, is faithful. And His eyes, according to this Scripture, search back and forth, across the land, seeking to strongly support any person whose heart is sold out for Him.
You my friend have been purchased with a great price, Jesus. And God is looking to support you STRONGLY! Scripture says He works all things together for our good.
So trust Him. Rest in His love. And let your faith be strengthened...God is Good!
Hebrews 11:1-3,and verse 6 says, "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. For by it the men of old gained approval. By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible. And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.
Remember Who it is you serve. Remember Who you have put your trust in. Remember Who it is that has loved you with an everlasting love.

David Viscott wrote, "The purpose of life is to discover your gift. The meaning of life is to give it away."
What brings you joy? What fills you with expectation and hope? If you could do one thing and make your living at it, what would it be? What one thing would you do whether you were ever paid or not?
Your answer, to these questions, can help you discover your gifts, talents, and passions.
Interestingly enough in Matthew 25 Jesus tells a parable about three men, one with 5 talents (which was actually a term used for their currency), one with 2 talents, and one with one talent. The person with five talents responds to His master and says I have earned five more and the master replies well done good and faithful servant. The person with two talents responds to His master and says I have earned two more and the master replies well done good and faithful servant. (I love this, there is no partiality...no greater praise offered to the one with five talents verses the one with only two talents.)
Which just goes to show it doesn't matter how much we have to offer, what mattters is that we are using our gifts to bring our master glory.
God doesn't want us to hide our gifts; He wants us to employ them, to invest them, to attempt to use them for Him in whatever way we know possible.
You may feel unworthy; you may feel untalented; But remember this...
(Ps 139:14-16)You are fearfully and wonderfully made;
All of God's works are wonderful,
Your frame was not hidden from God,
when you were made and woven together God's eyes saw your unformed body.
All the days ordained for you life were written in His book before time even began.
Begin thinking how you can take the things that you love to do and use it for God's glory. If you like to cook...cook a meal for someone in need. If you like to sew, make something who needs provision. If you like to write, send someone a word of encouragement. If you like to dance, grab your child and give them a whirl! LOL.
BUT, "Whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all to the glory of God, in Christ Jesus." And remember, You are made in God's image, and are amazing in every way.

Zechariah 4:10--"...'Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty. NIV
The greatest exploit of life is to learn to fall gently back in the arms of The One Who created us and recognize He is in control; His purposes will be established.
Recognizing that God is in control gives me peace. I know that, at just the right moment, He can instantaneously open a door that I have been pushing against for years.
God called me into the ministry over 28 years ago. At the time, I thought I knew how that ministry would look. I was pretty certain I would serve as a travelling evangelist, preaching the gospel across the nations.
Today, though a small part of that is true, I find that God's call is so much greater than what I anticipated...I minister to my husband...I minister to my children...I minister to the next door neighbor who quietly struggles with the possibility of a brain tumor...I minister hope to the one who wants to have children but is told she cannot...I intercede for countless people who may never even know...
My journey has had a lot of twists and turns...disappointments...painful encounters...and seemingly set backs...But I recognize now, the heartache and disappointment that I once thought shattered any possibility of ministry, provided the testimony from which I can minister the unconditional love of Christ.
Over the years I have learned, that in my wrestling, I can strangely rest, knowing, God will open up the doors He's intended for me to walk through. After all, He is The One Who opens the door that no man can shut and He shuts the door that no man can open.
So, let me encourage you to...
My prayer for you today is that you will find rest in your labor, strength for your journey, and peace in the knowledge that you are loved unconditionally.

Isa 43:1--But now, this is what the LORD says — he who created you...he who formed you..."Fear not , for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
Whether it's our doubts, limitations, weaknesses, near sightedness, or a plethera of other frailties...human tendancy is to be afraid. We fear what might happen, and sometimes even what should have happend.
The Word of God exhorts us over 70 times in both the Old and New Testament to not be afraid and to not fear.
The enemy would like us to concentrate on our own abilities...and rely on our own resources...but if we do, we open the door to fear. It's only when we focus on God's ability and God's resources that fear is disarmed. Its only when we keep our eyes on Jesus...the author and finisher of our faith that we realize that we can do all things.
You are loved dear friend. God said, I have loved you with an everlasting love. When we realize we are loved and we reciprocate that love fear vanishes.
After all...perfect love casts out fear. So remember...today and every day...You are NOT alone. The God of all creation is with you and He is able to do exceedingly above all we could ever ask, think, or imagine.

In December of 2007, my doctor gave me the news that my yearly test result came back with less than favorable results. A whirlwind of emotions gripped my heart. Could it be cancer? What about my family? My children? What is going to happen? Worry and anxiety flooded my emotions.
I quietly went to prayer and invited numerous friends to pray about the biopsy...After weeks of waiting and worrying...I received notification that they lost my lab tests and would have to do another.
You have got to be kidding me! I thought! How in the world do they lose lab tests? I later found out that the biopsy was thrown away by a new nurse who didn't realize it was suppose to have been sent out.
Lord, I don't know if I can wait any longer. I thought. As I began praying, I felt God's gentle presence comforting me. I quietly sat in His presence. After a short lapse of time, a strong impression invaded my my thoughts and disarmed all of my fears..."With a long life I will satisfy you!"
I began to think of all the promises He'd given me that had yet to be fulfilled. I knew that my life had not yet accomplished its final purpose and became convinced that everything would be alright. I prayed that the test reulsts would show false and that God would completely heal my body of the suspected disease.
Two weeks later...I rejoiced with my doctor as she announced that there was no trace of any disease...and that there was no trace of the first diagnosis...I was completely well!
No matter your battle...no matter your circumstances...you can triumphantly overcome them because our God is Big Enough and He is GOOD! --Hebrews 10:23, Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.

Remember Your Vision...Release Your Passion...And NEVER, NEVER Give up.
In Habbakuk 2:1-3 God told Habbakuk to post his vision and that God's promises will be fulfilled.
No matter your current circumstances, no matter the battle that lies ahead, no matter the mountain that needs to be removed...God is faithful. He will never leave you. He will never forsake you. And His purposes will be accomplished.
